Gateway Recovery Centre

Military personnel, veterans, first responders, and healthcare professionals have unique needs when it comes to mental health and addiction treatment, which is why Gateway Recovery Centre was created. The foundation of the Gateway Recovery staff is empathy and compassion. Their multidisciplinary staff of physicians, schizophrenics, nurses, counselors, and coaches is aware of the client's perspective. A comprehensive approach is used by Gateway Recovery to treat co-occurring mental health conditions such anxiety, depression, and trauma as well as alcoholism and behavioral addiction. Clients will participate in CBT, DBT, educational groups, family counseling, adventure therapy, life skills, mindfulness meditation, yoga, and other activities.

Just outside of Peterborough, Ontario, sits the large 22,000 square foot Gateway Recovery Centre. The building is located next to Heron Landing Golf Course on 14 wooded acres. Its design creates an environment of healing and tranquility. Their amenities include a lounge with a fireplace, semi-private rooms, a fully-stocked gym, a game room, and walking trails. Compared to non-private rehabilitation facilities, Gateway Recovery's admissions procedure is substantially quicker.
