About Bellwood Health Services
Bellwood Health Services provides treatment for addiction, co-occurring mental health disorders, and primary mental health conditions. They offer multiple treatment tracks for specific diagnoses or conditions, including eating disorder treatment and inpatient treatment for obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD). They provide inpatient treatment and an intensive outpatient program (IOP), as well as an online rehab program available through their app.
Bellwood Health Services uses a biopsychosocial (mind and body) approach for comprehensive recovery. Bellwood Health Services has talented therapists, counselors, clinicians, nutritionists, occupational therapists, and family therapists. Nurses monitor treatment 24/7, during and after detox. Bellwood Health Services implements a strengths-based treatment method to help clients realize their own power in their long-term recovery.
Bellwood Health Services offers a variety of evidence-based therapies for addiction and mental health. These include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), cognitive processing therapy (CPT), accelerated resolution therapy (ART), and 12-Step peer groups. Bellwood Health Services also offers recovery Dharma groups and SMART (Self-Management and Recovery Training) recovery groups. Their wellness services include yoga, hiking, fitness, mindfulness activities, art therapy, and group acupuncture. Bellwood Health Services includes family too, with family therapy sessions and a 2-day educational workshop to help families become supportive allies for their loved one.
Clients at Bellwood Health Services can enjoy a shared or single room, an on-site café run by alumni, a gym, and a basketball and volleyball court. After treatment, clients have access to a full year of aftercare services from Bellwood Health Services. These include in person or online maintenance sessions and lifelong access to a strong alumni network. Clients can move into an IOP after residential treatment and ultimately return home with a well-crafted relapse prevention plan.
Bellwood Health Services’ newest program specializes in treating mental health and addiction struggles in teens. The program will run for 12 weeks at a time, and treats substance use, mood and anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, trauma, eating disorders, and co-occurring conditions. Teens receive individual and group counseling, plus family therapy, psychoeducation, and nutritional guidance. Bellwood Health Services also offers an online teen mental health program, which runs for 9 weeks and provides an additional 14 weeks of aftercare.
Bellwood Health Services offers 2 programs for eating disorder recovery: primary eating disorder care and treatment for co-occurring eating disorders, addiction, and mental health conditions. Each program provides meal support, nutritional therapy, and 1:1 and group therapies. Bellwood Health Services provides psychoeducation for clients and their loved ones, as well as aftercare services.
Bellwood Health Services offers multiple programs for primary mental health conditions, including an inpatient trauma program, OCD program, depression program, bipolar program, anxiety program, healthcare professionals program, and a concussion and aquired brain injury support (CABIS) program.
